LUKE IS BACK! Backcountry Riding Clinic will be hosted by Luke Youngberg, a true Backcountry athlete. After graduating from college, Luke spent two winters as a guide and instructor in McCall, Idaho for CM Backcountry Adventures. After that he has been racing in the Rocky Mountain states Hillclimb circuit, the last two years racing in the pro division.

Luke's ability to quickly identify what skills and techniques will help you to improve. He will break them down in easy-to-follow segments. Luke will then coach you through the process to help you master the skill. His talent to identify those skills and translate them into an easy-to-follow steps has made him a highly sought after instructor on the mountain. Luke's clinic will focus on true backcountry riding skills like, wrong foot forward, side hilling, downhill U-turns, brake control, how to get unstuck easier, and some avalanche rescue practice. OSSA is excited to bring Luke and his clinic back to the OSSA Convention on Friday January 17th and Saturday January 18th at Diamond Lake Resort. The clinics will begin at 9:00 AM.
